Welcome to Shropshire Aero Club! We are a warm and friendly flying club set in the stunning Shropshire countryside. We are located at Sleap Aerodrome, an ex RAF WWII airfield just 8 miles north of the beautiful medieval town of Shrewsbury. Sleap Aerodrome is equipped for night flying with threshold lighting, runway edge lighting and LITAS on runway 23/05. AVGAS and JET A1 are both available at very competitive prices. Maybe it’s your lifetime ambition or career choice, or maybe a 1hr Gift Lesson, our friendly, professional instructors will guide you through your training.
